At Connect Earth, we are committed to sustainability and taking action against climate change. We believe in aligning our internal processes and carbon emissions with the goals of our customers, partners, and stakeholders. It is not only our aim to inspire climate-conscious behaviour, but also to actively participate in it. For this reason, we created Connect Earth’s Net Zero plan to keep ourselves accountable.
Despite being a young company, the urgent reality of the climate crisis has fuelled our drive to establish a robust sustainability foundation right from the start. By setting an early baseline year in our journey, we are able to chart a course for the future; and because of this, we are proud to announce our commitment to achieving Net Zero operations.

Our sustainability strategy
We have created a holistic sustainability strategy; encompassing social, biodiversity, and governance goals. Through this approach we hope to make a lasting impact throughout the organisation for our partners, and our environment.
The six policies within our strategy allow us to tackle our carbon hotspots and keep constant focus on our three core goals; our customers, our community and nature and biodiversity. Our sustainability pillars include:
- Focus on customers

- Focus on nature and biodiversity
- Focus on operations: emissions from purchased goods and services
- Focus on employees: commuting and other employee-related emissions
- Focus on business travel: responsible travelling
A step in the right direction
We are dedicated to assuming accountability for the impact of our business and minimising our footprint on the planet. The first step to achieving this, is to understand our current impact. Using our own solution, Connect Report, we were able to analyse our carbon footprint and identify employees, operations and business travel as our main hotspots. To address this we have implemented target policies that you can read in full within our Net Zero Plan.
However, our commitment to positive change goes beyond achieving Net Zero and we see these policies as a starting block for our wider sustainability strategy.
Our emission reduction commitments are at the heart of our plan, bringing focus to our overarching strategy; even though some companies disclose targets for only Scope 1 and 2, we applied our Net Zero strategy to all Scopes. This means we plan a 30% reduction, across scopes, by year 5 (2027) as well as a 50% reduction, across scopes, in 2030.
