Who are we?
Founded in the UK in 2021, Connect Earth is now a global team of technologists, scientists, and sustainability experts united by a shared mission: to make finance a force for good. With roots across Europe, the UK, and beyond, our distributed team brings diverse perspectives and local insight to a global challenge.
Together, we combine deep expertise in carbon modelling, data engineering, and regulatory frameworks to build the technology that helps financial institutions understand, disclose, and reduce their impact. Turning sustainability from obligation to opportunity.
Why this work matters
The science is clear: humans are rapidly altering the climate. In the last 60 years, atmospheric CO₂ rose around 100× faster than at the end of the last ice age - supercharging the greenhouse effect and pushing global temperatures toward critical tipping points. That’s why carbon tracking - and the transparent ESG data behind it - matters for every financial decision.

By combining Connect Earth’s transaction-level carbon insights with Datia’s institutional-grade ESG data, disclosure tooling, and portfolio analytics, we provide a single, consistent data backbone across the financial ecosystem - from retail banking journeys to asset-manager reporting.
The Datia Chapter
Founded in Stockholm, Datia built a modern platform to automate sustainable-finance workflows for investors - streamlining ESG research, portfolio calculations, and regulatory disclosures like SFDR PAI statements and the EET, plus ready-to-share client and sustainability reports. The platform emphasized intuitive UX, traceable data, and practical compliance support for asset managers, owners, and wealth platforms.
Datia’s market presence included partnerships and integrations that helped teams embed ESG insights into day-to-day processes, accelerating the shift from manual, fragmented workflows to scalable, audit-ready reporting.
Today, Datia’s capabilities live at the heart of Connect Earth - amplifying our ability to serve both consumer-facing banks and the institutional side of finance with one coherent system.
